Spun's "Love Is Love" 2026 Fundraiser! Rainbow STRIPES!

A little later than usual, thanks to persistent inventory issues, Spun is celebrating love and LGBTQ+ pride with our annual Love Is Love fundraiser in support of Detroit's Ruth Ellis Center and their work to improve the lives of LGBTQ+ young folks. This year we've kitted up a season-spanning rainbow sweater that's easy to make and fun to wear (or to gift).

Pick up a Rainbow STRIPES! kit, and Spun will donate 10% of our revenue to the Ruth Ellis Center. Of note:
  • STRIPES!, like all of Andrea Mowry's patterns, is meticulously designed and tested, ensuring great crafting now and a great fit later for a broad range of sizes.
  • Spun favorite Berroco Remix Light (39% nylon, 27% cotton, 24% acrylic, 10% silk, 9% linen) is made of 100% recycled fibers.
  • One kit includes enough yarn to make Rainbow STRIPES! in any of 10 sizes, including chest circumferences from 34.25" to 72.5".
  • Our inventory for this yarn is very likely limited to what we have on hand as of June 1 (we've been hoarding it since 2025), so if you want to make this sweater, and support the Ruth Ellis Center at the same time, now's your chance!
