A simple, chunky scarf to warm your heart, “Singles” may be worked up with any weight of yarn, as long as you use a hook size that yields a fabric you love and remember that a different weight means a different gauge and fabric, and perhaps a different amount of yarn, and adjust accordingly. YARN: Berroco Ultra Alpaca Chunky (50 percent wool, 50 percent alpaca, 131yd per 100g skein) in “Winter White,” 3 skeins
