Sashiko Samplers (Single-Stitch Patterns)

Daruma Sashiko Samplers are perfect as dish towels, napkins, or as an outer wrapping for homemade gifts. Each Single-Stitch Pattern is printed on durable white kitchen cloth fabric (sarashi) that can be washed off after you've finished. (In other words, please don't wash or steam your fabric until you've finish stitching!)

Single-Stitch Sashiko uses vertical, horizontal, and diagonal stitches in sequence at regular intervals, the pattern emerging as you stitch.

Needles and thread are not included with the Sashiko Samplers. Single-Stitch Samplers require between 28.5 and 122.5 yards of Sashiko thread, most requiring at least two skeins of Yokota Sashiko Embroidery Floss. You can also find Daruma Sashiko Needles here.

Finished size is about 18" x 20".
