Sashiko Samplers (Continuous Traditional Patterns)

Daruma Sashiko Samplers are perfect as dish towels, napkins, or as an outer wrapping for homemade gifts. Each Continuous Traditional Pattern is printed on durable white or navy kitchen cloth fabric (sarashi) that can be washed off after you've finished. (In other words, please don't wash or steam your fabric until you've finish stitching!)

Continuous Traditional Patterns are easy to enjoy and satisfying to embroider, each with its own history and meaning. Makers may use just one color of Sashiko thread or many, relaxing as if coloring a picture.

Needles and thread are not included with the Sashiko Samplers. Each Continuous Traditional Sashiko Sampler may be completed using one skein of Yokota Sashiko Embroidery Floss. You can find Daruma Sashiko Needles here.
