Midnight Madness 2025

We're bringing crafty back with a two-part celebration this year:
Part 1: Midnight Madness!
We'll be playing our usual game at the register (read on for details), and once again we'll be playing all day, so there's no need for you to wait until Midnight Madness to come down. (We are retiring types ourselves, so we understand occasional crowd avoidance.)
Here's how it works: We'll have a sweet and unassuming bag at the register! That bag will contain a whole lot of coupons, for 5, 10, 20, 25, 50, or 100% off your purchase.
After we ring in your sale, you'll reach into that bag and draw out a discount coupon, which we'll then apply to your purchase.* In other words, everyone will receive at least 5% off their purchase, and one lucky sheep-duck will leave the shop with everything for free.
We will not be winding yarn during Midnight Madness, but you are welcome to leave your yarn to be wound later or to bring it back in on a quieter day!
Bonus: Spun's own Brandon Rumsey will have a pop-up store in the shop during Midnight Madness, selling crochet ornament kits and finished crochet ornaments!
Part 2: Spun's 10th Birthday Celebration!
We did this last year, and we're doing it again, with a predictable tweak: To celebrate our 10th birthday, we'll be giving away $1000 in the form of 10 gift certificates!
To be eligible to win a gift certificate (1 of 10 $100 gift certificates!), just make a purchase from the shop during the month of December (online or in-store), or come to our birthday party and sign up in person.
Birthday party?? What?? Cupcakes! Friday, December 5! While supplies last! Yum!
*Discounts may be applied to clearance and orphan goods. They may only be applied in store or over the phone, and they're good only after your purchase total has been rung up. Customers may not return and then re-purchase their goods in an attempt to get a better discount. Discounts may not be applied to the following:
