Knitted Kalevala III continues the journey toward knitted folk poetry Jenna Kostet began in 2022, furthering her exploration of the poems of Kalevala, a Finnish national epic full of mythology, ancient symbols, mythical creatures, and nature. The 18 colorwork patterns here, inspired by oral folk songs and mythology but grounded in a fresh approach to colorwork, include pullovers, socks, a cardigan, and more, in a range of difficulty levels so that even those new to colorwork will find something to make their own.
