Baby Hat & Booties Workshop

When: Thursdays, April 9, 16, & 23, 6:00–8:00pm
Description: Nothing says love like wooly accessories for a brand-new human! In this class we'll knit a simple but sassy hat and classic stay-on booties. You'll learn the art of bootie construction, including knitting in the round, picking up stitches, increasing and decreasing, grafting, working a 3-needle bind-off, and seaming. The hat is constructed in the round and finished with a clever bind-off and optional tassels. This set ranges in size from newborn to 18 months old.
Prerequisites: Participants should be able to cast on, knit, and purl.

Min/max number of participants: 3/10
Materials to bring along:
- 2 skeins Berroco Vintage Baby
- Size US 6 circular needle, 32” or longer
- Darning needle
- Copies (printed or digital) of both Baby Uggs and Square Baby Hat patterns (both are free downloads)
