It's no secret that we love Kelbourne yarns, and this thoughtful, pretty new offering perfectly illustrates what makes this company special. The yarn itself is a soft, unmercerized 4-ply with flexible gauge possibilities, ideal for baby and child goods, summer garments and accessories, amigurumi--whatever your heart desires. Kelbourne, however, characteristically pushes the envelope here by offering Tanguis cotton, a more absorbent fiber than run-of-the mill cotton, allowing next-to-skin wicking properties without synthetics. Tanguis cotton is also an environmentally sustainable varietal, using less water than traditional cotton and highly resistant to cotton wilt, thus offering significant support to the Peruvian communities that cultivate it. Enjoy! Machine wash on cool, gentle cycle, and lay flat to dry.
