The Ladybug is friendly to entry-level spinners. It’s easy to treadle, easy to take with you, and pretty cute too. The Ladybug has the characteristic solid Schacht construction, and its unique design is both functional and charming. Carrying handles in the legs and its light weight make the Ladybug convenient to pick up and transport. An optional attached tensioned Ladybug Lazy Kate (see it here) integrates into the front leg and makes it easy to take along, too!
The Ladybug can be used in double drive, Scotch tension, and bobbin lead tension modes. It comes with medium and fast flyer whorls. Also included with each wheel is a poly drive band, an orifice hook, three travel bobbins, medium and fast whorls, and one cotton band. Each Ladybug wheel is unique—somewhere on your wheel is your very own ladybug pal.
