Pretty Madara, with its heavy twist, offers a soft, luxurious hand, thanks to the addition of silk and alpaca to a wool base. Madara's semi-solids feature nubby flecks that provide pops of contrasting color throughout whatever you might make ("madara" means "mottled" in Japanese), and you'll want to make all kinds of things, both garments and accessories. Hand wash, and lay flat to dry.
