Knit for Food Knit-a-Thon!
Saturday, April 11, 2026, 10am-10pm
Join Spun's team, and help fight hunger! You're welcome to gather and knit (or crochet or stitch or . . . ) at Spun on April 11 (we'll keep the lights on until 10pm that day), or craft from wherever you are, joining the Knit for Food zoom or just hanging out with friends and/or pets and/or plants. We'll have snacks available all day at the shop, we'll try to keep you hydrated, and the Kerrytown neighborhood has loads of great restaurants you can support.
Spun will be donating $5 to the cause for everyone who joins our team!
We're also holding a can drive for our local food pantry, Food Gatherers, that day. If you'd like, bring along a non-perishable food item to the shop on April 11, and we'll deliver it to them.
If you can't join the Knit-a-Thon but would like to donate to the cause:
- Go here, and click the teal "Donate" bottom in the upper left-hand corner of the page.
If you'd like to join the Spun team:
- Go here, scroll down until you see the list of our team members (you'll see the Spun logo), and then click the teal "Join to Fundraise" button.
- Then ask folks to donate in support of your efforts, providing them with your unique link! All donations will be credited to you individually and to our team.
One more important note: If you're planning to join us at the shop, you must RSVP to info@spunannarbor.com so we can get an accurate headcount and know how many folks to prepare for. Thanks!
