Let's join forces once again this year to craft and give back to our community!
Beginning Friday, September 12, and through Sunday, September 21 (or while supplies last), Spun will have A LOT of yarn to give away, thanks in large part to a very generous donation from Ann Arbor's Susan Schwartzenberger.
Spun supports several local and national charities, with a particular focus on unhoused and unsupported families and LBTQ+ young folks. You can find more information about Avalon Housing, Ozone House, and Knit the Rainbow by clicking on the links you'll find on this page.

Our donation deadline is once again December 1. This will give us time to sort, count, and distribute all the goodies.
In general, please think of any items you'd like donate as gifts to someone you haven't met, and bear in mind that Spun cannot accept:
- Used items
- Dirty items
- Store-bought items
- Items that are not suitable for gifting
