Along with being a designer, Jill is a professional knitting instructor. Having worked with individuals and groups of knitters of all skill levels, Jill understands what knitters want (and do not want) out of a project. She has been a published and featured designer for many yarn companies and dyers, has multiple published designs, and has been featured on the K2Tog podcast and on Twisted Stitches.

What is SISU? Sisu is a Finnish word that describes a mindset of quiet strength, determination, courage, humility, resilience, and gratitude. Jill grew up with Sisu, and tries to carry its wisdom into all aspects of her life.

When she's not knitting, you can find Jill on long walks or hikes with her husband, practicing yoga, cooking, reading, or playing with their pup, Sig.
