This Top Whorl Drop Spindle is a great beginner spindle. Each of these spindles, individually crafted in Cincinnati of maple and beech from domestic and international sources, spins true, the whorl's conical shape putting additional weight around the rim, lending stability. They measure 10" in length, with a whorl diameter of 2.5" and weight of 1.8 ounces.
