When: Wednesdays, January 15 & 29, 3:00–5:00pm
Description: Who doesn’t love a classic striped hat? Spun’s “Basic Striped Beanie” (one of our Spundamentals) is a perfect next step for new knitters, or anyone looking for a fun project! This class will teach you how to work in the round using both circular and double-pointed needles, change colors and weave in ends, perform simple decreases, and follow a basic written pattern.
Prerequisites: Participants should be familiar with the long-tail cast-on, knitting, and purling.
Homework: Pick your first color, and cast on 88 stitches using the long-tail method and your smaller needle. You will begin class with joining to work in the round.
Min/max number of participants: 5/8
