Fully Spun, Fully Spun Sock
Hand-dyer Brooke Innes has been crocheting and knitting since she was a child, her motto #welovecolor capturing both her unique way with yarn and her belief that craft can serve as a powerful means of inspiration and communication, To create Fully Spun Sock, Brooke hand-dyes wool roving before it is milled, yielding stunning marled skeins that are “sisters, not twins,” their strands boasting multiple colors that shift into each other in a variety of gradients. Fully Spun Sock is lovely alone and in combination, perfect for socks, shawls, and accessories. Hand or machine wash, gentle cycle, and lay flat to dry.
Remember that hand-dyed skeins are created individually, in small batches. If you are making a larger garment, please consider alternating skeins every two rows or rounds if you want an appearance of overall consistency in your finished object.
