Beginning Crochet with Karen Lucas

Description: Conquer your fear of the hook, and join the many crafters who have discovered the ease and speed of crochet! In this class you’ll learn how to work basic crochet stitches and follow a pattern to create a beautiful pair of fingerless gloves.

Min/max number of participants: 5/8
Materials to bring along:
- 1 skein of light-colored worsted weight yarn, purchased from Spun (we suggest Berroco Vintage or Lanas)
- Size US G or H crochet hook
- Removable stitch marker
- Scissors
- Tape measure
- Tapestry needle
- A copy of the pattern “Ridged Fingerless Gloves” by Olga Vogel. The pattern is available for purchase on Ravelry here. There is also a free version linked on the ravelry page, but that is a web page only, not a PDF that you can print. We recommend purchasing the PDF and printing it out, since you may want to write on it.
