Private Lessons and Custom Classes

Private Lessons

Spun offers numerous private lesson slots for knitting and crochet each week. If you don’t see what you're looking fpr listed on our class page, if a class doesn’t work with your schedule, or if you need one-on-one help, just get in touch with us, and we'll work with you to set up a lesson. Private lessons start at $40/hour and can be booked in one-hour or half-hour sessions.

Custom Classes

Do you have something entirely different in mind? (Did you miss Continental Knitting again??) Let us set up a custom class for you! We can teach beginners or more advanced students, and all ages are welcome. Just drop Julie H a note, and she'll do her very best to hook you up (har har) with a teacher and a time.

Some fine print:

• We need at least five students to run a class.
• One person will be responsible for communicating with Julie, making payment in full, and sending out any needed information regarding materials and pre-assigned homework.
• Class cost is based on a per-student hourly rate of $35, plus a $25 service fee.
• Payment in full is due one week before class begins.
• Spun's usual polices regarding late cancellations and changes apply. You can see a list of all our policies here.
