Anne B. Hanssen’s Wee Baby Set consists of matching cardigan, romper, bonnet, and legwarmers (yes, legwarmers!) to keep your tiny person cute and comfortable. The garments are seamless and feature broderie anglaise lace-pattern embellishments. Kelbourne Perennial (60% Merino, 25% alpaca, 15% nylon) is soft and washable, with a luxurious hand.
The Wee Baby Set is available in four sizes, from 0 to 12 months. The sizes listed below are the actual chest measurements of the finished garment.
- Size 1 (0-3 months): 15.75” finished chest circumference
- Size 2 (3-6 months): 17.75” finished chest circumference
- Size 3 (6-9 months): 18.5” finished chest circumference
- Size 4 (9-12 months): 20” finished chest circumference
Each kit includes 2 skeins of Kelbourne Perennial in the color of your choice, along with the pattern which will make a complete baby set consisting of cardigan, romper, bonnet and legwarmers in any of the four sizes. We will purchase a copy of Wee Baby Set for you via Ravelry, so you will automatically receive both a printed copy and an emailed PDF. Please note that this kit does not include needles or buttons. You will need US2.5 16” circular needles and US2.5 DPNs (or size needed to achieve gauge). If you don't already have the appropriate needles at home, you can shop Spun's selection of circular needles here and our selection of DPNs here. The sweater also calls for twelve 10-12mm buttons. We used these buttons on our sample.
