Toughnut Kit

Martha Wissing’s Toughnut is a gender-neutral scarf that makes the most of simple textured stitches and color blocking. The saturated colors and luxe fiber blend of Nua Sport (60% Merino, 20% yak, 20% linen) make the most of the design, which features clean lines, a little bit of intarsia, knit, purl, and a beautiful slip stitch pattern. It all adds up to a scarf that looks much more complicated than it is! If you haven’t tried intarsia before, this is a simple project to learn the technique.

Each kit contains 5 skeins of Stolen Stitches Nua Sport (2 skeins of the main color, 1 skein each of 3 contrast colors) in the color combination of your choice, and the pattern for Toughnut which will make one scarf approximately 9.5” wide and 69” long. We will purchase a copy of Toughnut for you via Ravelry, so you will automatically receive both a printed copy and an emailed PDF. If you would also like to have this pattern in your Ravelry library, please note your Ravelry ID (not your password!) in the "Notes" field in your cart!

Please note that this kit does not include needles. You will need a US6 10” or longer straight needles or a 16” or longer circular needle (or size needed to achieve gauge). If you don't already have the appropriate needle at home, you can shop Spun's selection of straight needles here or circular needles here.

If you'd like to make your kit a gift (for yourself or someone else), or if you just wish to keep your new project tidy and organized, add the Spun Rope Handle Bag with Pin to your order and we will package your purchase accordingly!
