Kiddiwinksknits’s The Picknmix uses stripes and spots to make a versatile top-down cardigan for babies and toddlers! The cardigan is knit in soft, washable organic Bio Balance and is available in a variety of fun color combinations and in five sizes, to fit your favorite child from 3 months to 3 years.
Sizing:
- 3 month: length 9.25”, chest circumference 20”
- 6 month: length 10.5”, chest circumference 21.5”
- 12 month: length 11.5”, chest circumference 22.5”
- 2 year: length 13.25”, chest circumference 23.5”
- 3 year: length 13.75”, chest circumference 25”
Each kit contains 5 skeins of BC Garn Bio Balance (55% organic Shetland wool, 45% organic cotton) in the color combination of your choice and the pattern for The Picknmix which will make one cardigan in any of the five sizes, from 3 months to 3 years (see dimensions below). We will purchase a copy of The Picknmix for you via Ravelry, so you will automatically receive both a printed copy and an emailed PDF. Please note that this kit does not include needles or buttons. You will need a US3 and US4 24” or longer circular needle (or size needed to achieve gauge) and US3 and US4 DPNs. If you don't already have the appropriate needle at home, you can shop Spun's selection of circular needles here and DPNs here. Our sample uses 7 pearl buttons (13mm) which are available here.
