Meiju Kallio's Summa Stripes Shawl combines simple stripes and eyelet bands into a rhythmic play in a wearable, crescent shape. The shawl uses two colors of Eriu Elements DK (75% Blue Faced Leicester, 25% Romney wool), a special plush and bouncy Irish yarn whose wool is hand-sourced from the owners' farm in the Wicklow Mountains and from a nationwide farm-to-yarn network.
Each kit contains 2 skeins of Eriu Elements DK in the color combination of your choice and the pattern for Summa Stripes Shawl which will make one shawl with an approximately 67" width and 12" depth. We will purchase a copy of Summa Stripes Shawl for you via Ravelry, so you will automatically receive both a printed copy and an emailed PDF. If you would also like to have this pattern in your Ravelry library, please note your Ravelry ID (not your password!) in the "Notes" field in your cart!
Please note that this kit does not include needles. You will need a US7 32” or longer circular needle (or size needed to achieve gauge). If you don't already have the appropriate needle at home, you can shop Spun's selection of circular needles here.
