Gretha Mensen’s Spring Bulbs is the perfect shawl for springtime! Inspired by linear fields of tulip bulbs, the lace sections are accented with vertical and horizontal bands and edged with a tidy i-cord finish. Amano Awa’s plush combination of alpaca, Merino, and cotton provides next-to-skin softness with excellent stitch definition and drape.
Each kit contains 2 skeins of Amano Awa (55% alpaca, 26% Merino, 19% cotton) and the pattern for Spring Bulbs which will make one shawl with an approximately 78” wingspan and 25” depth. We will purchase a copy of Spring Bulbs for you via Ravelry, so you will automatically receive both a printed copy and an emailed PDF. If you would also like to have this pattern in your Ravelry library, please note your Ravelry ID (not your password!) in the "Notes" field in your cart!
If you purchase more than one of the same kit, Spun will automatically purchase only one copy of the pattern for you, and we will refund you the pattern cost for any additional kits. If you need more than one copy of your pattern, please include a note in the "Notes" field at checkout, and we'll purchase and print the given number of copies of the pattern for you.
Please note that this kit does not include needles. You will need a US6 24” or longer circular needle (or size needed to achieve gauge). If you don't already have the appropriate needle at home, you can shop Spun's selection of circular needles here.
