Petite Knits’ Sophie Shawl is the stunning big sibling to the beloved Sophie Scarf. The same simple construction of garter stitch, gradual increases and decreases and an attached i-cord edge creates a graceful shawl in a larger format. Buttery soft Blue Sky Suri Merino yarn (60% baby Suri alpaca, 40% fine Merino), a single-ply worsted weight yarn, has a fluid drape and is as lovely to wear as it is to knit with.
The Sophie Shawl is available in three sizes (our sample is Size 3) with the following lengths and widths:
- Size 1: 67” long with an 11” center width
- Size 2: 82.75” long with a 13.5” center width
- Size 3: 94.5” long with a 15” center width
Each kit includes sufficient yarn for the size specified in the color of your choice, along with the pattern. We will purchase a copy of Sophie Shawl for you via Ravelry, so you will automatically receive both a printed copy and an emailed PDF. If you would also like to have this pattern in your Ravelry library, please note your Ravelry ID (not your password!) in the "Notes" field in your cart!
If you purchase more than one of the same kit, Spun will automatically purchase only one copy of the pattern for you, and we will refund you the pattern cost for any additional kits. If you need more than one copy of your pattern, please include a note in the "Notes" field at checkout, and we'll purchase and print the given number of copies of the pattern for you.
Please note that this kit does not include needles. You will need a US8 24” or longer circular needle (or size needed to achieve gauge). If you don't already have the appropriate needle at home, you can shop Spun's selection of circular needles here.
