PetiteKnit’s Sophie Hood is a cleverly constructed hood and scarf in one! Worked in garter stitch with built-in i-cord edges, the construction starts at the tip of one end of the scarf, then uses increases and decreases to shape the hood and finishes with the second end of the scarf. Velvety soft Manos del Uruguay Maxima (100% Merino) is the perfect yarn to snuggle up with when the weather gets nippy!
The sizing of this project refers to the length of the attached scarf (the hood size remains the same for all three sizes). Our sample is a Size 2, with a medium length scarf:
- Size 1: 40.25” from top of the hood to the tip of one end of the scarf
- Size 2: 50.5” from top of the hood to the tip of one end of the scarf
- Size 3: 60.75” from top of the hood to the tip of one end of the scarf
