Thea Colman’s Potato Vodka is a V-neck cardigan with a cropped, boxy shape and a stylish retro vibe. The contrast of dark and light yarns in textured slip-stitch is created by two yarns that bring out the best in each other: Harrisville Nightshades (80% US Cormo, 20% US wool) marbleizes saturated black skeins with touches of color while Wooldreamers Dehesa de Barrera DK (100% Spanish Merino) has rich colors that pick up and enhance Highland, providing the perfect complement.
Potato Vodka is available in 8 sizes and is designed to fit with approximately 4 inches of positive ease. The sizes listed below correspond to the actual measurement of the finished garment, so to achieve the recommended fit, please choose a size that is 4 inches larger than your chest measurement.

Each kit includes sufficient yarn for the size specified in the color combination of your choice, along with the pattern. We will purchase a copy of Potato Vodka for you via Ravelry, so you will automatically receive both a printed copy and an emailed PDF. Please note that this kit does not include needles or buttons. You will need US5 and US6 32” or longer circular needles and US5 and US6 DPNs (or size needed to achieve gauge). If you don't already have the appropriate needles at home, you can shop Spun's selection of circular needles here and DPNs here. The cardigan is finished with 22-25mm buttons: 4 buttons for size 1-5, and 5 buttons for size 6-8. Our sample used these buttons. You can shop Spun’s button selection here.
