Olga Putano’s new design, Olga’s Jacket, is a creative celebration of color and construction! Knit continuously, triangle by triangle, in garter stitch and ribbing, the design references the shapes of classic quilt blocks. This cozy jacket uses mYak Tibetan Cloud (100% fine Tibetan wool), which is plush and bouncy with a velvety finish that is closer to cashmere than most wool.
To celebrate this design, mYak is hosting an Olga’s Jacket KAL that features three zoom calls with the designer where you will be able to discuss color choices and styling, get guidance on the jacket construction and techniques, learn more about Olga’s other designs and the mYak story, and share your progress with knitters around the world. This shared creative journey runs from June 4 to August 14, 2026, with the first zoom chat with Olga on Thursday, June 4, at 2pm EST.

Please note this yarn bundle does not contain the pattern for Olga’s Jacket or needles. You can purchase the pattern here on Ravelry. The jacket uses US4 needles for the body and US2 needles for the ribbing (or size needed to achieve gauge).
