Nadia Crétin-Léchenne’s Moriarty is a chic, lightly cropped vest that’s perfect for layering. Holding together one strand of Amano Awa (55% alpaca, 26% Merino, 19% cotton) and one strand of Amano Uma (37% alpaca, 37% mohair, 26% silk) produces a fabric that is meltingly soft with a subtle marl and tonal depth provided by the unique mix of fibers.

Moriarty is available in 9 sizes and is intended to be worn with 2-3 inches of positive ease. The sizes listed below correspond to the actual measurement of the finished garment, so to achieve the recommended fit, please choose a size that is 2-3 inches larger than your chest measurement.

Each kit includes sufficient yarn in the color of your choice for the size specified and a copy of the pattern. We will purchase a copy of Moriarty for you via Ravelry, so you will automatically receive both a printed copy and an emailed PDF. If you would also like to have this pattern in your Ravelry library, please note your Ravelry ID (not your password!) in the "Notes" field in your cart!

Please note that this kit does not include needles. You will need US3 16” and 32” circular needles and US4 32” circular needles (or size needed to achieve gauge). If you don't already have the appropriate needles at home, you can shop Spun's selection of circular needles here.

If you'd like to make your kit a gift (for yourself or someone else), or if you just wish to keep your new project tidy and organized, add the Spun Rope Handle Bag with Pin to your order and we will package your purchase accordingly!
