Mondim Socks Kit

Andrea Mowry’s Mondim Socks have the comfort of a classic ribbed sock while throwing in a bit of fun with some contrasting color and lace. These toe-up socks feature a Fleegle Heel, which ensures a beautiful fit with no holes! The Fibre Co. Amble and Amble Mini Skeins mix alpaca into the usual sock fiber combination to make for a plush, durable yarn in lush, heathery shades.

Each kit contains 1 skein of Amble and 1 Amble Mini Skein (70% Easy-wash Merino, 20% Easy-wash alpaca, 10% recycled nylon) in the color combination of your choice and the pattern for Mondim Socks  which will make one pair of socks in one of two sizes with an unstretched finished foot circumference of 7-8” . We will purchase a copy of Mondim Socks for you via Ravelry, so you will automatically receive both a printed copy and an emailed PDF. Please note that this kit does not include needles. The pattern is written with instructions for Magic Loop but it is easy to adapt to DPNs if that is your preferred method of sock knitting. You will need a US1 and US1.5 32” circular needles for Magic Loop or DPNs (or size needed to achieve gauge).
