Tin Can Knits’ Love Note is an airy delight of a pullover that knits up quickly. The combination of 2 lace-weight yarns creates a fabric that is floaty, soft and sensual. The sweater is knit from the top down with a high-low hemline, 3/4 sleeves and a lace pattern that is both charted and written. We’ve kitted it up in elegant, drapey Fibre Co Meadow (40% Merino, 25% llama, 20% silk, 15% linen) and luxuriously soft and fuzzy Fyberspates Cumulus (74% baby Suri alpaca, 26% silk).
Sizing
Love Note is available in 7 sizes and is designed to be worn with between 4 and 12” positive ease relative to your chest measurement. The sizes listed below correspond to the actual measurement of the finished garment, so to achieve the recommended fit, please choose a size that is 4-12" larger than your chest measurement.
- Size 1 (XS): 38.5” chest circumference
- Size 2 (S): 41.5” chest circumference
- Size 3 (M): 44.5” chest circumference
- Size 4 (L): 48.5” chest circumference
- Size 5 (XL-XXL): 56.5” chest circumference
- Size 6 (3XL-4XL): 66.5” chest circumference
- Size 7(5XL): 72.5” chest circumference
Each kit contains sufficient yarn in the color of your choice to make the indicated size and the pattern for Love Note. We will purchase a copy of Love Note for you via Ravelry, so you will automatically receive both a printed copy and an emailed PDF. Please note that this kit does not include needles. You will need US7 and US10 DPNs, US 7 and US10 16” circular needles and, depending on the size you choose, US7 and US10 24-40” circulars (or size needed to achieve gauge). For XS choose a 24” cable, for sizes S-XXL add a 32” cable and for sizes 3XL-5XL add a 40” cable.
