Tin Can Knits’ Love Note is a sweet little sweater that knits up quickly from the top down. With a high-low hemline, three-quarter sleeves, and a simple lace motif, it’s the perfect garment to wear on its own in warm weather or serve as an elegant layer when it gets cool out. The combination of Rowan Kidsilk Haze (70% mohair, 30% silk) and Kelbourne Woolens Perennial (60% Merino, 25% alpaca, 15% nylon) creates a fabric that is floaty, soft and sensual.
Love Note is available in 8 sizes and is designed to be worn with 4 to 12 inches of positive ease. The sizes listed below correspond to the actual measurement of the finished garment, so to achieve the recommended fit, please choose a size that is approximately 4 to 12 inches larger than your chest measurement.
- Size 1: 38.5” finished chest circumference
- Size 2: 41.5” finished chest circumference
- Size 3: 44.5 finished chest circumference
- Size 4: 48.5” finished chest circumference
- Size 5: 56.5” finished chest circumference
- Size 6: 66.5” finished chest circumference
- Size 7: 72.5” finished chest circumference
- Size 8: 80.5” finished chest circumference
Each kit includes sufficient yarn for the size specified in the color combination of your choice, along with the pattern. We will purchase a copy of Love Note for you via Ravelry, so you will automatically receive both a printed copy and an emailed PDF. Please note that this kit does not include needles. You will need a US7 and US10 16” and 32-40” circulars (32” for sizes 1-5, 40” for sizes 6-8) and DPNs (or size needed to achieve gauge).
