Lilacs and Marigolds is a long, shallow curve of a shawl with stripes, a little lace, and a picot edging. The entertaining stitching is the perfect opportunity to play with two contrasting colors of Dos Tierras, whose 50/50 mix of Merino and baby alpaca makes for a soft, drapey yarn that shows off Malabrigo’s stunning colors.
Each kit contains 2 skeins of Malabrigo Dos Tierras (1 skein of each color) in the color combination of your choice and the pattern for Lilacs and Marigolds which will make one shawl with an approximate wingspan of 75” and center depth of 12”. We will purchase a copy of Lilacs and Marigolds for you via Ravelry, so you will automatically receive both a printed copy and an emailed PDF. If you purchase more than one of the same kit, Spun will automatically purchase only one copy of the pattern for you, and we will refund you the pattern cost for any additional kits. If you need more than one copy of your pattern, please include a note in the "Notes" field at checkout, and we'll purchase and print the given number of copies of the pattern for you.
Please note that this kit does not include needles. You will need a US7 32” or longer circular needle (or size needed to achieve gauge). If you don't already have the appropriate needle at home, you can shop Spun's selection of circular needles here.
