Gretha Mensen’s Les Roches is a triangular shawl inspired by the rocky coastline of Normandy. The mix of delicate lacy cables with bolder ones in the wide patterned band evokes sea waves washing over the rocks and stones. The multi-ply construction of mYak's Baby Yak Medium (100% baby yak) provides both excellent stitch definition and cashmere-like softness.
Each kit contains 6 skeins of Baby Yak Medium in the color of your choice and the pattern for Les Roches which will make one shawl with an approximately 70” wingspan and 27” depth. We will purchase a copy of Les Roches for you via Ravelry, so you will automatically receive both a printed copy and an emailed PDF. Please note that this kit does not include needles. You will need a US6 and US7 32” or longer circular needles (or size needed to achieve gauge). If you don't already have the appropriate needle at home, you can shop Spun's selection of circular needles here.
