Gretha Mensen’s Las Playas is a triangular shawl with an all-over lace pattern that brings to mind sand ripples on the beach. The Fibre Co.'s Arranmore Light is a woolen-spun, tweedy yarn with a gorgeous range of colors. Its blend of Merino, cashmere, and silk provides plenty of drape and gives the shawl an almost weightless feeling.
Each kit contains 2 skeins of Arranmore Light (80% Merino, 10% cashmere, 10% silk) and the pattern for Las Playas which will make one shawl with an approximately 77.5” wingspan and 26” depth. We will purchase a copy of Las Playas for you via Ravelry, so you will automatically receive both a printed copy and an emailed PDF. Please note that this kit does not include needles. You will need US7 and US9 32” or longer circular needles (or size needed to achieve gauge). If you don't already have the appropriate needle at home, you can shop Spun's selection of circular needles here.
