This comfy cardigan has raglan shaping and three cute stripes on one sleeve and is available in popular local sports team colors using soft, washable Berroco Ultra Wool (100% superwash wool). Kids Spirit Cardigan is available in 5 sizes designed to fit kids from 2 to 10 years. The sizes listed below correspond to the actual measurement of the finished garment and we recommend picking a size that is 2-4” larger than the child’s chest measurement.
- Size 1 (2-3 years): 23” finished chest circumference
- Size 2 (4-5 years): 25” finished chest circumference
- Size 3 (6-7 years): 27” finished chest circumference
- Size 4 (8-9 years): 29” finished chest circumference
- Size 5 (10 years): 31” finished chest circumference
Each kit includes sufficient yarn for the size specified in the color combination of your choice, along with the pattern. We will purchase a copy of Kids Spirit Cardigan for you via Ravelry, so you will automatically receive both a printed copy and an emailed PDF. Please note that this kit does not include needles or buttons. You will need US7 and US8 24” or longer circular needles and US7 and US8 DPNs (or size needed to achieve gauge). If you don't already have the appropriate needles at home, you can shop Spun's selection of circular needles here and DPNs here. The cardigan is finished with five .75” buttons.
