Honey Petal Kit

Andrea Mowry’s Honey Petal is the cardigan to toss on all year round! It has a lightly cropped, boxy shape, a gentle v-neck, and a fun play on stripes, which make it easy to wear with everything. The soft hand and saturated colors of Blue Sky Fibers Organic Cotton Sport (100% organic cotton) provide season-bridging comfort.

Honey Petal is available in ten sizes and is designed to be worn with 0-6 inches of positive ease at the chest. The sizes listed below correspond to the actual measurement of the finished garment, so to achieve the recommended fit, please choose a size that is approximately 0-6 inches larger than your chest measurement. 

Size 1: 31” finished chest circumference
Size 2: 34” finished chest circumference
Size 3: 38.5” finished chest circumference
Size 4: 42.5” finished chest circumference
Size 5: 46” finished chest circumference
Size 6: 50” finished chest circumference
Size 7: 54.5” finished chest circumference
Size 8: 58.5” finished chest circumference
Size 9: 62” finished chest circumference
Size 10: 66” finished chest circumference

Each kit includes sufficient yarn for the size specified in the color combination of your choice along with the pattern. We will purchase a copy of Honey Petal for you via Ravelry, so you will automatically receive both a printed copy and an emailed PDF. Please note that this kit does not include needles or buttons. You will need US3 and US5 32-40” circular needles and US3 and US5 DPNs (or size needed to achieve gauge). If you don't already have the appropriate needles at home, you can shop Spun's selection of circular needles here and DPNs here. The pattern calls for five 12-18mm buttons.
