Equally right for business or casual, His Vest fits perfectly over a dress shirt or a T-shirt. Rowan Felted Tweed DK (50% Merino, 25% rayon, 25% alpaca) is a soft fiber blend with a sophisticated color palette that enhances this classic vest.
His Vest is available in 6 sizes. If you prefer ‘slim’ or ‘trim’ cut shirts, choose 1–3" of ease at the chest. If you prefer ‘regular’, ‘classic’ or ‘traditional’ shirts, choose 4–6" of ease at the chest. If your waist is somewhat larger than your chest, make sure you choose a size that gives your waist at least 1" of ease. The sizes listed below correspond to the actual measurement of the finished garment so to achieve the recommended fit, please choose a size that is the preferred number of inches larger than your chest measurement.
- Size 1: 40” finished chest circumference
- Size 2: 43” finished chest circumference
- Size 3: 46” finished chest circumference
- Size 4: 49” finished chest circumference
- Size 5: 52” finished chest circumference
- Size 6: 55” finished chest circumference
Each kit includes sufficient yarn for the size specified in the color of your choice, along with the pattern. We will purchase a copy of His Vest for you via Ravelry, so you will automatically receive both a printed copy and an emailed PDF. If you purchase more than one of the same kit, Spun will automatically purchase only one copy of the pattern for you, and we will refund you the pattern cost for any additional kits. If you need more than one copy of your pattern, please include a note in the "Notes" field at checkout, and we'll purchase and print the given number of copies of the pattern for you.
Please note that this kit does not include needles. You will need US6 straight or 24” or longer circular needles and US4 16-24” circular needles (or size needed to achieve gauge).
