Marcela Chang’s Higham begins with a lace border that transitions easily to a meditative striping sequence. This generous triangular shawl uses two colors of Cumbria Fingering yarn (60% merino wool, 30% masham wool, 10% mohair) to make an accessory that combines a love of stripes with something a little feminine and soft. Instructions in the pattern are both written and charted.
Each kit contains the pattern for Higham and 3 skeins of The Fibre Co. Cumbria Fingering (2 skeins of MC, 1 skein of CC) which will make one shawl with an approximate width of 67” and depth of 30”. We will purchase a copy of Higham for you via Ravelry, so you will automatically receive both a printed copy and an emailed PDF. Please note that this kit does not include needles. You will need a US4 32" circular needle (or size needed to achieve gauge). If you don't already have the appropriate needles at home, you can shop Spun's selection of circular needles here.
