Alexandra Tavel’s High Peaks Balaclava is a textured crochet hood with an attached cowl and drawstring to keep you comfortable in all kinds of weather. Wear it up when it’s cold or down when you go inside; this fun accessory is made with Kelbourne Keystone (70% deadstock acrylic, 30% North American wool) which is soft and washable with vivid colors and an affordable price point.
Each kit contains 3 skeins of Kelbourne Keystone in the color of your choice and the pattern for High Peaks Balaclava which will make one hood to fit an average adult head with a 21-23” circumference. We will purchase a copy of High Peaks Balaclava for you via Ravelry, so you will automatically receive both a printed copy and an emailed PDF. Please note that this kit does not include crochet hooks. You will need USH/5mm and US7/4.5mm crochet hooks (or size needed to achieve gauge). If you don't already have the appropriate hook at home, you can shop Spun's selection of crochet hooks here.
