Amy Christoffers' Felix Cardigan is a cropped, top-down beauty with an eyelet motif incorporated into the raglan increases. This perfect layering piece is knit up in Kelbourne Woolens Lucky Tweed (100% merino), a 2-ply offering that hits that elusive worsted/Aran sweet spot with beautiful deep colors.
Sizing
Felix Cardigan is available in 5 sizes. This cardigan is intended to be worn with a range of positive ease, from 2 to 10” depending on your personal preference. The sizes listed below correspond to the actual measurement of the finished garment, so to achieve the recommended fit, please choose a size that is 2-10" larger than your bust measurement at its fullest point.
- Size 1: 39” bust and 22” length from cast on to neck edge
- Size 2: 43.5” bust and 24” length from cast on to neck edge
- Size 3: 48” bust and 25” length from cast on to neck edge
- Size 4: 52.5” bust and 27” length from cast on to neck edge
- Size 5: 57” bust and 28” length from cast on to neck edge
Each kit contains sufficient yarn in the color of your choice to make the indicated size and the pattern for Felix Cardigan. We will purchase a copy of Felix Cardigan for you via Ravelry, so you will automatically receive both a printed copy and an emailed PDF. Please note that this kit does not include needles or buttons. You will need a US8 16” and 24” or longer circular needle, a US10 16” and 24” or longer circular needle, and US8 and US10 DPNs (or size needed to achieve gauge). If you wish to do the optional tubular cast on, you will also need a US5 circular or straight needle of any length. If you don't already have the appropriate needles at home, you can shop Spun's selection of circular needles here and DPNs here. The cardigan is finished with six 3/4" buttons.
