Park Williams’ Crumpet Cardigan is an elegant lace top-down beauty, perfect for wearing over a camisole in summer months or layered over long sleeves for a decorative effect in cooler months. Knit from the top down with a simple 7-stitch lace motif, this drop sleeve cardigan works up quickly in Juniper Moon Farm Summer Solstice, a luxurious (but machine-washable) sport-weight linen and cotton tweed.
Crumpet Cardigan is available in 9 sizes and is designed to be worn with 1-5 inches of positive ease. The sizes listed below correspond to the actual measurement of the finished garment, so to achieve the recommended fit, please choose a size that is approximately 1-5 inches larger than your chest measurement.

- Size 2: 39” finished chest circumference
- Size 3: 42.5” finished chest circumference
- Size 4: 46” finished chest circumference
- Size 5: 49.5” finished chest circumference
- Size 6: 53” finished chest circumference

Each kit includes sufficient Summer Solstice (48% linen, 24% cotton, 24% rayon, 4% nylon) for the size specified in the color of your choice, along with the pattern. We will purchase a copy of Crumpet Cardigan for you via Ravelry, so you will automatically receive both a printed copy and an emailed PDF. Please note that this kit does not include needles or buttons. You will need US3, US5 and US7 32” or longer circular needles, US7 16” circulars or DPNs and US 5 12” circulars or DPNs (or size needed to achieve gauge.) If you don't already have the appropriate needles at home, you can shop Spun's selection of circular needles here and DPNs here. The pattern also calls for 6 to 8 12-14mm buttons (we recommend 6 buttons for sizes 1-3, 7 buttons for sizes 4-6 and 8 buttons for sizes 7-9). We used these buttons on our sample.
