Crochet a Summer Top: “Perfect Crochet T-Shirt” by Kaitlin Barthold

Description: Have you always wanted to try your hand at crocheting a garment? In this 4-session workshop, expert crocheter Karen Lucas will guide you through the steps to make a sweet t-shirt with a scoop neck and cap sleeves. Along the way, you’ll learn about reading patterns, getting gauge, increases, and finishing. Best of all, you’ll take home the perfect top to wear this summer!
Prerequisites: Participants should be comfortable with the single crochet stitch.
Homework: None
Min/max number of participants: 5/8
Materials to bring along:
- DK-weight yarn in cotton, linen, or a similar blend, purchased from Spun (we recommend Juniper Moon Zooey or Berroco Remix Light)
- Size USF & G crochet hooks
- Removable stitch markers (Cocoknits Split Ring Stitch Markers are ideal)
- A printed or digital copy of the “Perfect Crochet T-Shirt” pattern by Kaitlin Barthold (purchase from Ravelry here)
