Elizabeth Smith’s Capo is an unique, relaxed layering piece that has the ease of a poncho with the refinement of a vest. This simple sleeveless top is quick to make: knit from the bottom up with bulky-weight Woolfolk Luft (55% Ovis Ultimate Merino™, 45% cotton), it is finished with shaped shoulders for a silhouette that is both refined and comfortable.
Capo is available in 5 sizes and is designed to be worn with 10-16 inches of positive ease at the chest. The sizes listed below correspond to the actual measurement of the finished garment, so to achieve the recommended fit, please choose a size that is approximately 10-16 inches larger than your chest measurement.
- Size 1: 48” finished chest circumference
- Size 2: 53.5” finished chest circumference
- Size 3: 59.5” finished chest circumference
- Size 4: 66.5” finished chest circumference
- Size 5: 72” finished chest circumference
Each kit includes sufficient yarn for the size specified in the color of your choice along with the pattern. We will purchase a copy of Capo for you via Ravelry, so you will automatically receive both a printed copy and an emailed PDF. Please note that this kit does not include needles. You will need US10.5 16”, 24” and 32” circular needles (or size needed to achieve gauge). If you don't already have the appropriate needles at home, you can shop Spun's selection of needles here.
