Ainur Berkimbayeva’s Alatau is a top down knitted hat with a folded brim and a design that uses twisted stitches to create ribbed peaks and valleys. Soft, bouncy Kelbourne Woolens Scout (100% wool) is a joy to knit with and has a beautiful palette of shimmery heathered colors.
Each kit contains 1 skein of Kelbourn Scout in the color of your choice and the pattern for Alatau which will make one hat in any of three adult sizes with a finished circumference of 18.25” to 24.5”. We will purchase a copy of Alatau for you via Ravelry, so you will automatically receive both a printed copy and an emailed PDF. Please note that this kit does not include needles. You will need a US6 16” circular needle and a set of US6 DPNs (or size needed to achieve gauge). If you don't already have the appropriate needle at home, you can shop Spun's selection of circular needles here and DPNs here.
