Andrea Gaughan’s Aion Cowl uses simple geometric colorwork to stunning effect. Using six colors of Fibre Co. Acadia, a luxurious blend of Merino, alpaca and silk, the double layer of this infinity cowl will keep you cozy while the gorgeous play of colors will brighten any outfit. The pattern is thoughtfully written and includes a video tutorial showing exactly how to join the cowl at the end while making the colorwork appear completely unbroken.
Each kit contains 6 skeins of Fibre Co. Acadia (60% Merino, 20% alpaca, 20% silk) in the color combination of your choice and the pattern for Aion Cowl which will make one cowl in any of three sizes (our sample is a Medium) with a width of 9.75” and a circumference of 22.2-27”. We will purchase a copy of Aion Cowl for you via Ravelry, so you will automatically receive both a printed copy and an emailed PDF. Please note that this kit does not include needles. You will need a US6 16” circular needle (or size needed to achieve gauge). If you don't already have the appropriate needle or hook at home, you can shop Spun's selection of circular needles here.
