Barbara Benson’s A Good Scarf is an easy pattern that uses knits, purls, and slipped stitches to create a completely reversible scarf. Knit in super-soft Herriot (100% baby alpaca), a beautiful heathery yarn with exceptional drape and halo, this scarf offers an elegance that belies its simplicity.
Each kit includes 2 skeins of Juniper Moon Farm’s Herriot in your choice of color and the pattern for A Good Scarf, which will make one scarf approximately 6.5” wide by 84” long. We will purchase a copy of A Good Scarf for you via Ravelry, so you will automatically receive both a printed copy and an emailed PDF. If you would also like to have this pattern in your Ravelry library, please note your Ravelry ID (not your password!) in the "Notes" field in your cart!
If you purchase more than one of the same kit, Spun will automatically purchase only one copy of the pattern for you, and we will refund you the pattern cost for any additional kits. If you need more than one copy of your pattern, please include a note in the "Notes" field at checkout, and we'll purchase and print the given number of copies of the pattern for you.
Please note that this kit does not include needles. You will need US5 needles, either a circular needle 24” or longer or a pair of 14” long straight needles (or size needed to achieve gauge). If you don't already have the appropriate needles at home, you can shop Spun's selection of circular needles here and straight needles here.
