Welcome Mota Worsted from Wooldreamers in Spain
Be still, our Spun hearts! Pretty Mota, made entirely in the heart of Castilla-La Mancha, is named to honor Wooldreamers' roots in the town of Mota del Cuervo. With the aim of supporting small wool producers, Mota was developed as a collaboration with several local ranching families, and thanks to the proximity of the farms to their mill, Mota is produced with one of the smallest carbon footprints on the market.
Its production inspired by Wooldreamers’ mission to elevate the perception of so-called waste wools, Mota is derived primarily from the fleeces of regional dairy sheep (think Manchego), with each skein traceable back to the flock of origin. You owe it to yourself to give this one the squish of discovery! You’ll find a truly soft and lofty 3-ply with a neat twist, available in a wide range of colors and perfectly suited for colorwork and cables and anything else that calls for a bit of a pop. Make something you want to wear for a long time!
Each 100g/252yd skein is just $16

Understated
Designed by Joji Locatelli and knit by Laura in Kelbourne Woolens Scout
Comfortable and elegant? Count us in! Joji Locatelli’s Understated has a simple boxy shape with dropped shoulders and a deep V neckline. The exceptionally pretty heathered tones and soft drape of Kelbourne Woolens Scout (100% wool and Laura's favorite!) make for an eminently wearable design that’s destined to become a wardrobe staple. Laura's take: "The construction is simple, the ribbing is squishy, and the whole look is sophistcated. Once I tried it on, I knew it would be a wonderfully cozy layer for fall or all-year-round!"
