Summer Fun Socks
DESIGNED BY ANNE HANSON
KNIT BY CAROL U. IN HIKOO COBASI
Anne Hanson’s Summer Fun Socks are the perfect, portable project to take with you anywhere you go. This top-down sock has a beautiful open pattern that looks like tiny ice-cream cones and pairs perfectly with CoBaSi, a soft, wool-free sock yarn that won’t irritate your skin or overheat your feet! The pattern also converts easily to toe-up construction, reversing the design to reveal a motif of tiny Eiffel towers! How cute is that?!
Carol U. notes, "The Summer Fun socks were, well, FUN to knit! The lacy pattern is easy to memorize and makes such an interesting but not overly complicated texture. As a very warm person who loves hand knit socks, I was so pleased with how the Hikoo CoBaSi yarn knit up and I look forward to making myself more hand knit socks with this cotton, bamboo, silk yarn."
