This week brought a big box of goodies from the folks at Spincycle in Bellingham, WA. What started as a two-person spinning and dyeing business selling at a local farmers' market has grown into one of the most unique yarn makers in the world. Kate and Rachel managed to scale up their tiny operation into a business of over 20 folks that creates one-of-a-kind skeins of slow color changing yarn where the hues sunset into one another and where the surprise tones occur when one color blends with another. Anyone who has stitched with it can tell you just how fun this yarn is and just how stunning the finished objects are.

We have Dyed in the Wool, Dream State, Trine, and Plump on our shelves in dozens of colors, and we have lots of pattern suggestions on our site.
