SPUN PROJECT OF THE WEEK

Pick up the kit, and we'll pay for the pattern

Highland Slipover

Designed by Hailey Smedley of Ozetta Knitwear and knit by
Annri in Kelbourne Woolens Lucky Tweed

A perfect layering piece, this oversized vest has a simple top-down construction and a double-layer collar to keep you cozy. The gorgeous rich tones of Kelbourne Woolens Lucky Tweed (100% merino) make a wardrobe staple into something special.

Annri notes, "I think this will be a wardrobe workhorse, over shirts, tees, and dresses, with jeans and PJs too. The knitting is simple and smart; the shoulder shaping via short rows gives a nice curve to the cap sleeve, and hefty ribbing punctuates the edges. This is my first Lucky Tweed project, and I enjoyed every little, colorful nep! And, WOW, I did not anticipate how soft it would become once wet blocked!"
